Lyn Hind is able to run surgeries alongside the doctors and can utilise skills or techniques traditonally used by doctors. Doctors advice will always be sought should extra help be needed.

Our practice nurses work closely with the doctors and nurse practitioners and provide a wide range of nursing services which include blood tests, ear syringing, dressings, vaccinations, cervical smears and health checks. Practice nurses and nurse practitioners are able to run specialist clinics which include heart disease, diabetes and asthma.
HCA’s & Assistant Practitioners - do not see patients under the age of 16 years old.

Midwife
The midwives hold clinics on a Wednesday morning at the Brough surgery. If you are thinking of starting a family, you can make an appointment with either the doctor or midwife for a health check and advice. The midwife will then advise you on antenatal and postnatal care.

Occupational Therapist
Kirsty Franklin and Liz Dixon offers their services to the Practice once per week and referral is normally made via the Practice team.
Living Well Coach
Emily Howarth represents our new Wellbeing Service in conjunction with Eden ICC. Referral is made by your doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse. Emily will be available on Wednesday's, Thursday's and Friday's. Full details can be found in our Wellbeing Service leaflet, available at the Practice.
Community Psychiatric Nurse
Referral is normally made by your doctor.
Palliative Care Team
Includes your GP, District Nurses, Macmillan Nurse and Social Worker. We work closely together to give you and your family the best possible care. Contact details will be given to you should the need arise.
