Lyn Hind is able to run surgeries alongside the doctors and can utilise skills or techniques traditonally used by doctors. Doctors advice will always be sought should extra help be needed.

Our practice nurses work closely with the doctors and nurse practitioners and provide a wide range of nursing services which include blood tests, ear syringing, dressings, vaccinations, cervical smears and health checks. Practice nurses and nurse practitioners are able to run specialist clinics which include heart disease, diabetes, asthma and travel vaccinations.
HCA’s & Assistant Practitioners - do not see patients under the age of 16 years old.

The midwives hold clinics on a Wednesday morning at the Brough surgery. If you are thinking of starting a family, you can make an appointment with either the doctor or midwife for a health check and advice. The midwife will then advise you on antenatal and postnatal care.
